"I bought one of these for my circle track car"
Please go and buy an automotive (SA rated) helmet. Motorcycle (M rated) helmets are built for different types of impacts (multiple lighter impacts + dragging).
   Automotive SA helmets must pass a flammability test while the M standard does not.
   Automotive helmets must pass a rollbar impact test while M standard does not.

The current racing helmet requirements for road racing by sanctioning body are:

    * SCCA - SA2000/SA2005 Helmet
    * BMWCCA - SA2000/SA2005 Helmet
    * NASA - SA2000/SA2005 Helmet
    * PCA - SA2000/SA2005 Helmet

I bought one of these for my circle track car... the only negative thing I have to say is that I can hear the engine noise when cars are on the sides. Its not loud... but I can still hear them.

I wish i found it for $115 - I think I paid $180 at a local shop!! Not next time...

I bought the HJC CL-SP Osiris model on Ebay for about 115 bucks...a great deal. I agree with you on this review....I love this helmet.

The visor removal is so much simpler than many helmets but not as good as the Shark in my opinion. The paint in beautiful, the liner is very comfortable. All the parts and vents are robust.

The CL-SP flows plenty of air -- way more than the Scorpion EXO-400, which seems to me to be it's major competitor and also more than my previous helmet, a Shark RSI. I live in the South too so I appreciate a lot of air.

You won';t be unhappy with this helmet.
