Do HJC Helmets Run Small?
I am looking at a new HJC FS-15 Helmet for this spring but it seems like I read somewhere that they run smaller than advertised on the size. I am going to buy it on the internet to save money but I want to make sure I don't squeeze my brains out through my ears because the helmet is so tight.
So do HJC Helmets Run small? If so by how much?

Hey Eddie....thanks for the question. In my experience No...HJC Helmets do not run small. I wear an XL in many different brands of helmets and I wear an XL in the HJC line up too.
The HJC FS-15 helmet series is a great helmet. We recently reviewed one of them and were quite impressed with the bang for the buck. HJC doesn't have the snob appeal that a Shoei or something similar might have but they are great motorcycle helmets.
I think you'll be happy with your choice. You can find a lot more HJC Helmets here but my current favorite is the HJC FS-15 Surge. It's hot.

No. In my 35 yr experiance, I have always worn an XL, and my current HJC is also an XL. Same thing with my wife, who has always used a Medium.

I think they do. Both my husband and I went one size up from our norm to get a comfortable fit. Going by their helmet measurements didn’t work.

Best thing to do is get to your local shop and try one on. I’ve only owned Shoei and Nolan helmets so I really couldn’t help you. Try one on and you’ll find out. Watch out for pressure points!! They might be bearable in the store but they’re hell on the open road! Good luck helmet hunting!

I own an HJC and have always been an XL so for me it was fine. However, you should always try it on before you buy. You may have a borderline head.
