I may be exagerating a little bit but I have a thing for naked carbon helmets. I think they are just damn cool and the latest incarnation from HJC is the HJC FS-15 Carbon which comes in a few different colors. Icon Airframe Helmet
Icon is a relatively new player in the motorcycle helmet world but they are coming on like a Hurricane. Icon products have been quietly taking over the streets for a few years now and the secret is out. Icon makes some pretty nice stuff and the Icon Airframe series of helmets are just one fine example of that. Quality construction and a wide selection of some hot and sexy graphic packages and you are bound to have a motorcycle helmet that is popular with the masses. Scorpion EXO-400 Helmets
There are very few helmets that could give you a better bang for the buck than then offerings we see from Scorpion Helmets. This Scorpion EXO-400 is a sweet little helmet that you would expect to cost much more than it does. The Scorpion EXO-400 is DOT certified and comes in several different and quite attractive packages. The interior sports removable and washable liner and cheek pads and is supremely comfortable. Like I said, at this price point, you will be very surprised that this helmet is this good. I don't think I have ever reviewed a helmet in the $100- $150 dollar price range that performed as well but you never know. Motorcycle Helmet Summary
Trends are funny and what might be popular today is gone tomorrow but I am one of those guys that likes to stick with what works. I like simple and clean and functional and that shows in the helmets I picked as my top 3 favorites.
HJC, Scorpion and Icon are not the most expensive helmet manufacturers out there and the helmet snobs might pooh pooh my picks but I like what I like. The great thing about these picks is they are likely to be as popular a few years from now as they are today.
